It just happened that I went to a cooperative bank on a public holiday without being aware of the same.
I felt really disturbed when I saw the closed bank gate and immediately rushed to ask the next shop if the bank's branch is at the same place or has it shifted without notice.
The person in the shop told that the bank is only closed due to a public holiday and it will be open tomorrow at fixed working hours.
Instead of returning back, I thought why not enter the ATM and do some research?
The bank's ATM had the presence of a security guard and also the passbook printing machine and ATM machine to withdraw money.
I asked the security guard again if the bank will be open tomorrow and he nodded his head.
I immediately took my passbook and got it fully printed so that the work is done.
Then I took my debit card and checked the bank balance and also withdrew some money for personal use.
I thought although the bank is closed and my work isn't done fully, I at least visited the ATM to get 2 of my bank-related work done.
The moral of the story is even if you face adverse times in your life, never get so demotivated to not look at what are the available options.
As they always say, something is better than nothing - at least think of ideas of what you can do during challenges rather than simply being an observer and playing the victim card.
