Don't feel sad. Firstly as a writer myself, I have seen editors who would reject my articles without any valid reason.
They would either not understand my creativity or are too pressured to follow their company policy of sticking to only one genre.
So, that's just one example of the type of editors I have witnessed in my 10 years old writing career.
There are several editors who would look at your articles and keep commenting on what needs to be improved or what are the mistakes, etc.
But I would suggest you do not take their advice or suggestions or even destructive criticism to your heart.
You can simply learn their art or style of writing articles and give them what they want so that there is no issue with your salary.
Instead of deleting those old or unpublished or rejected articles, you can simply mail them to yourself or publish them on your own blog or website, or social media platforms.
You won't be questioned or advised there unless those articles are not controversial or extremely sensitive by nature.
So, take a chill pill on the rejection days and keep the motivation ON for your writing!
All the best!
