So, I already told you guys how I had a bitter association with a website founder who asked me to write 5 to 8 articles in a day at a cost of less than Rs 100 per article. Not just that, each article had to include a word count of more than 500 words and have keywords to be linked, images to be searched, alt text to be written, etc. etc.
I agreed to the association because I really felt that since the website was starting new, I would be able to be a part of a successful journey that will take me with it.
But when the same founder with whom I worked for almost three years, actually ditched my association and listened to the newbies who gave him for-ranking and for-Adsense earning suggestions, my trust broke.
I really felt hurt, truly hurt from within that I no longer be able to contribute to that website, what I view, think, and perceive.
However, thanks to Google as it was around the same time, I got an mail from the technology giant that my website Wiseom's AdSense account had been approved.
It really gave me new confidence in my writing skills. I felt as if someone recognized my talent and understood the writer inside me who was willing to write and share all the feelings and information out there on the internet.
So, today when I recollected the strategy adopted by my ex-boss to write more number of articles to get more adsense revenue, I simply typed on Google, "how many articles gets adsense payment".
Hope you guys remember that a few days back I shared that this website has earned 0 dollars in the Adsense account.
But does money really motivate me to write? Well, I need money to make a living, there is no doubt about it. I really don't come from a family of kings or queens who have left their wealth behind for me to pay my bills and sustain the remaining years of my life.
So, getting that clear, I want definitely to monetize my blog. But how do I do that? Well, Google's first answer written in Google Help was: There is no specific number or quantity. Its about quality of your content. If you are creating your website for Adsense then you are doing wrong.
So, I decided that I would no longer listen to all the naysayers and just keep trusting my writing process of writing from my heart as that will always allow me to take my emotions out in the form of beautiful articles or blogs or informative pieces.
Thanks to Google and thanks to the audience that I have so far!
