In the 14th December 2023 episode of Chookar Mere Mann Ko, Suraj decides to go to the US with Shona. Mishka supports him.
Suraj doesn't listen to his parents and leaves for the airport.
Joy informs Deepa about Suraj's trip to the US and she becomes anxious.
However, on the way, Shona falls sick and is taken to the hospital.
A doctor informs Suraj that Shona needs her Phoolmaa to stay healthy.
Suraj requests Deepa to come home to take care of Shona. However, she rejects the idea and tells Suraj to bring Shona to her home.
Shona and Rupa enjoy each other's company at Deepa's home.
However, Suraj gets the doubt when he sees Rupa quite often at Deepa's home.
Lavanya tries to manage the situation but when Suraj tries to drop Rupa to her own home, Rupa gets rescued by her Mama.
The next day, Rupa shares with Deepa how she feels jealous when Shona gets all the attention from Deepa. Also, she shares that she doesn't like the idea that she has to call her Phoolmaa even at her own home.
Deepa tells Rupa to handle the situation for the time being and soon everything will be resolved.
Rupa goes to school without having her breakfast and she falls sick after having food from outside.
Suraj attends to her health problem and gets to know from the school that Deepa Sengupta is Rupa's mother.
Suraj gets angry with all his family members and Deepa as well. However, he tells Rupa is innocent and shouldn't bear the brunt of Deepa's ill-doings.
Suraj takes Rupa to his home and cares for her. He announces to Deepa and all his family members that till Rupa's mother and father don't meet him, he won't allow Rupa to meet Deepa or anyone else.
Suraj despite knowing that Deepa is Rupa's mother plays the game so that Deepa admits to being Rupa's mother.
Rupa enjoys the company of Sengupta family members but she misses her home as well.
