In the 19th December 2023 episode of Star Plus serial Chookar Mere Mann Ko / Chhoo Kar Mere Mann Ko, Lavanya keeps discussing with Prabir of the way forward for Suraj and Deepa's life and their children.
Shona is sleeping while Suraj wakes up which disturbs Shona. Suraj asks Shona whom she loves the most - Suraj or Phoolmaa.
Shona tells in any situation she loves both of the most and she will want to be with both of them with the rest of her life.
Suraj recollects Mishka's warning of Deepa trying to side with Shona to get a hold of Suraj's house and family. Suraj thinks to himself that he will not allow any of these things to happen.
Deepa wears the saree that Lavanya gifted her to gain the courage require to deal with Mishka.
Deepa goes to Mishka and beats her up for ruining her life all this while.
Deepa records all the conversations she had with Mishka and threatens that she will expose her when the time comes.
Deepa enters Sengupta house and tells Suraj and family members that she has not been divorced by Suraj, she is still his wife and by that right, she is also Shona's mother.
Suraj gets disturbed and becomes too emotional seeing Shona and Deepa's growing closeness and bonding.
Lavanya tells Deepa that she cannot separate Shona from her other family members. Deepa realizes her mistake and allows Shona to go back to Lavanya's home.
Suraj reaches Deepa's home to tell her not to interfere in Shona's life anymore as he wants to live with Shona peacefully.
Deepa doesn't tell him anything but Rupa calms him down by feeding him prasad.
Lavanya meets her company officials at her home who tell her about the felicitation ceremony.
Shona tells she would like to do a dance performance at the program. Shona insists to go to Deepa's home to learn dance.
However, Suraj stops her and seeing her crying, he tells Shona to invite Rupa and Deepa at their home.
Deepa teaches Shona and Rupa dance and they together prepare breakfast for the entire family.
Rupa tells Shona that Deepa's birthday is the next day and so they both prepare a surprise plan to celebrate her birthday.
Except Suraj, everyone helps the duo in planning for Deepa's surprise birthday plan in a temple.
Shona makes a drawing and gifts to Deepa while Rupa gifts her a saree and kheer. Seeing all of them happy at the temple, Suraj gets irked.
Mishka also keeps planting negative thoughts in his head making Suraj feel more disturbed. So, he decides to give a divorce notice to Deepa as her birthday gift.
Suraj and Mishka attend the felicitation ceremony of Lavanya's with all other family members.
Rupa and Shona put an amazing dance performance. In order to compete with Deepa, Mishka tries to dance but she fails badly.
During the program, Lavanya announces that Deepa will be the future leader of Lavanyas' after she retires from the company to the media and the audience.
After the program, Suraj hands over the divorce notice to Deepa and tells her and all the family members that he is fed up with the marriage and now he only wants Shona to live happily with him without Deepa's interference.
Mishka too adds fuel to the fire saying not to listen to Deepa's explanations when she tries to convince Suraj that Shona is their second daughter.
Lavanya gets angry with Mishka but Suraj protects her and she leaves after the drama.
However, after Suraj announces his decision, Deepa falls unconscious. Suraj feels guilty of his decision.
Suraj goes to treat Deepa when he gets to know from Joy that she has fallen unconscious.
Lavanya gets angry on Suraj while other family members try to convince her saying he is the best doctor in the city.
Suraj hospitalizes Deepa while Tista takes children to her home.
Back home, Rupa and Shona search for Deepa, Suraj and all other family members.
Rupa and Shona get to know that Deepa has gone to hospital for treatment. They both yearn to meet their mother.
