In the 27th December 2023 episode of Chookar Mere Mann Ko / Chhoo Kar Mere Mann Ko, which is the Hindi dubbed serial of Anurager Chhowa, Rupa tells Deepa that she will not go to Sengupta house because people don't talk to her nicely there.
Deepa agrees but she wants to meet Urmi and her newborn so she tells Rupa that she is feeling sick. Rupa decides to not to go to school to care for her mother but Deepa convinces her to go as she can leave for the Sengupta house.
Deepa goes to Sengupta house to welcome Urmi and her newborn as Lavanya has gone out for some official work.
Deepa dresses up nicely and participates in the rituals for Urmi's newborn who is named Deep. Deepa gets joined by Suraj who doesn't talk any nonsense so that the function goes on well in front of the visitors.
Rupa looks from outside of how Deepa is respected in the family function. Rupa gets invited by Suraj to attend the function and both Rupa and Shona give blessings to Deep.
Deepa shares her love with Deep and Urmi feels guilty for her mistreatment towards Deepa all these years. Just then Suraj interrupts and tells Deepa that he wants to talk to her.
Suraj again alleges that Deepa wants to enter the house and that's why she is using Deep as an excuse. However, Deepa gives away all the jewelry that she wore and tries to leave.
Suraj feels guilty for his anger and is about to talk to Deepa again and they fall on each other and share a romantic moment.
Shona enters the room and Suraj and Deepa feel awkward.
Shona and Rupa exchange dresses of Suraj and Deepa respectively as they plan to act like their parents in a school function.
The next day, Suraj and Shona go in a rickshaw to school as their car breaks down. While Rupa and Deepa go to school in a car as arranged by Lavanya as a gift.
Lalit takes a family picture from his second-hand new smartphone of the entire family Rupa, Shona, Suraj and Deepa excluding Mishka from the photo as she tries to spoil the photo.
In the school function, Deepa and Suraj get shocked when they get to know that their children Rupa and Shona are hurt by their parents' behaviour and misunderstandings.
Deepa and Suraj get warning from the school principal to care for their children or else their academic performance will be affected.
The next day Rupa and Shona get report cards from their school that they have secured the first rank.
Shona celebrates with Suraj by going out while Prabir and all family members try to cheer up Rupa by gifting her at Deepa's home.
Prabir also apologizes to Rupa for not taking a stand for Deepa always and calls Deepa as Badi Bahu.
Just then Suraj and Shona arrive to congratulate Rupa and she tries to call Suraj as Papa. But she stops herself.
Shona calls Deepa as mother that again disturbs Suraj who invites everyone for a celebration at Sengupta home the next day.
Suraj meets a woman in his clinic who tells that she also does acting gigs. In front of all family members, Suraj invites that woman as Shona's mother and Shona becomes very happy.
Deepa feels disappointed and leaves with Rupa. Suraj gets slapped by Lavanya who questions him for his insane decision to get any random woman as Shona's mother despite knowing the truth that Deepa is Shona's mother.
However, Suraj doesn't understand and accept the fact. That woman gets questioned by Shona of the reasons she left her in the childhood but she has no answers.
The next day, Deepa questions that woman of why she is acting up like Shona's mother but she doesn't have any answers. Deepa gets stopped by Suraj who asks her to leave and not interfere in Shona's matters.
