In the 12th December 2023 episode of Chookar Mere Mann Ko, it was shown how Rupa and Shona accidently meet each other in Deepa's house and a curious Shona wants to know how Rupa is related to her Phoolmaa.
Lavanya and Rupa manage the situation by telling that Rupa is a neighbor and just like Shona adores Deepa as her Phoolmaa, Rupa too considers Deepa as her Phoolmaa and relishes her food.
Despite spending the entire night with Deepa on the eve of Valentine's Day, Suraj is detached and wants to never see Deepa again.
Back at home, while sharing about his decision to permanently settle in the USA with his daughter Shona, Suraj gets advised by a senior doctor not to quit his job as he is quite a well-known cardiologist in the city and there is a lot of work to do.
Lavanya too supports the senior doctor who advises Suraj to spend quality time with his family at his Darjeeling farmhouse.
Hearing about a family trip, Joy gets overjoyed and informs all the family members. Lavanya, Urmi all do shopping for the trip whereas, Tista and her Prabir's brother are unable to be a part of the trip as they are shown to be out for work purpose in Bengaluru.
On the day of Shivratri when Suraj tries to treat a patient in a temple, he gets milk poured on him by Deepa accidentally.
Suraj is nearby working in a health camp and sees the fight between Deepa and Urmi. Urmi doesn't want Deepa to enter in Suraj's life as she is afraid to lose the control of the house and the property to Deepa and her daughter.
Rupa is excited to participate in a contest and she wins a lottery ticket to go to Darjeeling. Deepa along with Rupa and Tabla's relatives board the train to Darjeeling unaware of the fact that Suraj and his family along with Mishka is also present in the same train.
Mishka gets to know from her spywork that Deepa is also set to go to Darjeeling and that's why she uninviting enters the train much to the surprise of the Senguptas.
Shona gets to know that Rupa is in the train and Rupa also finds out that Shona is in the same train.
They both makes excuses to their respective families and play games in between the trip.
They prank on Mishka and lock her up in a restroom so that they can play together. They enjoy eating foods brought by the other and feel good to play games.
Suraj gets to know that Deepa has boarded the same train and she is also going to Darjeeling. He plans to cancel the trip but Lavanya and Deepa trick him saying they will enjoy without his company.
Suraj warns Shona that he will immediately leave for the US if throughout the trip, she keeps insisting to meet her Phoolmaa.
