In the 12th December 2023 episode of Imlie, Imlie is building her parental house back as it has been ruined.
Agastya helps Imlie in rebuilding the same. However, the Chaudharys get into a crisis when the income tax officials don't allow them to reopen their sweet shop Chaudhary Sweets.
Agastya gets to know that his business has been overtaken by a person who has purchased 50% of his company shares and asked to repay the loan.
Agastya finds out that he has to repay a loan of up to 2 crores.
Agastya's grandmother says that only good money will be used to repay the loan and not money earned from any source.
Imlie says that she will use her capabilities to repay the loan.
Agastya thinks that Imlie is referring to her singing skills in a bar.
