In the 6th January 2024 episode of Chookar Mere Mann Ko / Chhoo Kar Mere Mann Ko, Mishka takes Shona to meet her fake parents.
Seeing her fake parents, Shona realizes that she doesn't feel the same connection as she would feel with Suraj and Deepa.
Mishka again manipulates Shona's innocence and tells if she accepts her new parents, then Suraj can return home and lead a good life.
Shona tells her new parents that she cannot address them as Maa and Papa but will call them New Mother and New Father to avoid any confusion.
Shona however, doesn't like the dish prepared by her new mom and also doesn't enjoy playing a game on mobile with her new father.
On the other hand, Rupa reaches home and cries to Lavanya and Deepa that Mishka had taken Shona with her and Shona got into an argument with Rupa because she tried to stop them.
Lavanya wondered why Mishka tried to create more problems for them.
Lavanya and Deepa recollect that probably Mishka would have taken Shona to her home just like she did before as well.
They both leave for Mishka's home and start calling Shona standing outside her home.
Lalit and Rita reach Sengupta's house and find Rupa crying badly as she is worried about Shona.
Lalit and Rita inform Palak and Urmi of everything that they saw how Mishka gave a lot of money to a couple who belong to their village.
Rupa tells them she will go to Mishka's house to help Shona understand the truth.
Deepa and Lavanya get into an argument with Mishka about why she is manipulating Shona's emotions.
Shona comes out and tells Deepa and Lavanya that she wants to stay with her new parents only and that they should leave at the earliest.
Deepa and Lavanya get really angry with Mishka and reveal to her that Suraj and Deepa are Shona's real parents and she need not interfere in their matters.
Urmi calls Deepa to find out what is happening. Deepa receives the call and tells Urmi that she is at Mishka's house and Shona is also there and she cuts the call.
Urmi couldn't tell Deepa about what Lalit shared with her. So, Lalit and his wife along with Rupa go to Mishka's house.
Rupa pleads to Shona to come out and meet her. Mishka tells them that Shona will not meet them at all.
However, hearing Rupa's voice, Shona gets emotional and comes running outside to meet her.
Mishka sees their bond and feels shocked. Lavanya and Deepa threaten her to not harm their children again.
However, Mishka says that Lavanya and Deepa have hidden a big matter and they are at fault.
Lalit and his wife reveal that the couple who claim to be Shona's parents are fake and they are actors.
Shona gets to know that her new parents are not real and she runs away crying.
Lavanya threatens Mishka and also slaps her hard and tells her not to interfere with her family matters.
Rupa stops Shona and tells her that she need not worry about who her parents are.
Rupa gets stopped by Deepa who tells her not to reveal the truth. But Rupa says she will not listen to anyone now as she can no longer see Shona in sadness.
Rupa tells Shona that her parents are Shona's parents. Rupa also says that she is her twin sister.
Shona feels shocked to know the reality. She reconfirms with Rupa again and Rupa says that whatever she said is true as she always speaks the truth.
Shona gets angry with Deepa and doesn't accept her and she also feels unwell.
Deepa and Lavanya take her home and Shona keeps thinking about how she has all the family members.
Shona after reaching home, calls everyone with love and affection as if she is talking with her own family members.
As Shona feels unwell, a doctor comes and checks her up. He advises the family members to not have a stressful environment as it will help the child to recover soon.
Lavanya takes care of Shona and Rupa and Deepa keeps thinking of why Suraj has not yet returned home.
Shona keeps saying in sleep that she wants to meet Suraj and tell everything to him so that he also feels good.
The goons attack Suraj and take away his money and wallet that has debit cards.
As the goons withdraw a lot of money from the ATM and throw away the wallet, Deepa gets a call from the bank that a huge amount of money has been withdrawn.
Deepa feels suspicious and leaves for the place from where the transaction has happened thinking probably Suraj is in trouble.
As Deepa takes a cab, she calls Lavanya to inform her that she has left to search for Suraj.
However, Lavanya puts the children to sleep and has kept her mobile in silent mode.
This makes her not become aware of Deepa's whereabouts.
Mishka also keeps calling the goons whom she had hired to keep Suraj busy. But the goons don't receive her call.
Mishka feels afraid and reaches Sengupta house to find out if Suraj has returned.
But all the family members along with Lavanya shout at her and ask her to leave for creating trouble in Shona's life with fake parents.
Mishka and Lavanya along with other family members get to know that Deepa has left to search for Suraj.
Deepa searches for Suraj and Suraj is taken care of by an old woman along with some nearby villagers who try to help Suraj gain consciousness.
