Kavita Kaushik Says Goodbye to TV: "Enough of Witches and Drama!"

Remember Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala from FIR?

Well, actress Kavita Kaushik just hung up her police badge and is saying goodbye to television altogether!

She wasn't leaving because of a big movie role, though.

Long work hours and what she believed to be outdated content were two big reasons behind her decision.

No More 30-Day Shoots!

Kaushik indicated that she was no longer suited to the demanding schedules of television production

Filming for extended periods, like 30 days straight, was no longer something she was willing to do.

She expressed openness to web shows and movies, but only on her own terms.

"They Only Want Me to Play Witches Now!"

Another factor in her decision was the lack of interesting roles being offered.

Kaushik said that she was primarily receiving offers to portray witches in shows like "Shaitaani Rasmein," which did not align with her career goals.

Kavita Calls Out "Bad" TV Content

Kaushik's biggest concern, however, was the content itself.

She believed that many television shows were out of touch with modern times and could be harmful to viewers.

She expressed worry that younger audiences were absorbing negative messages from these programs.

"There was a time when television was more progressive," she said.

"Now, the kind of content they're showing is really bad... We subconsciously get influenced by it."

She even admitted to having some regret about her own past roles, stating that she did not approve of the way things were on television these days.

So, what's next for Kavita? We'll have to wait and see, but one thing's for sure: she's done with witches and week-long TV shoots!

Here are some lessons we can learn from Kavita Kaushik's decision to leave television:

Prioritize your well-being: Long work hours and demanding schedules can take a toll on your health and happiness. Kaushik's choice reminds us to prioritize a healthy work-life balance.

Don't settle for roles that don't excite you: Your career should be fulfilling. If you're constantly offered roles you find uninteresting, it might be time to explore other avenues.

Be vocal about what you believe in: Kaushik spoke out against what she sees as outdated and potentially harmful content. It's important to use your voice to advocate for positive change.

Never stop learning and growing: Maybe Kavita's departure from TV signifies a new chapter in her career. It's always a good idea to stay open to new opportunities and keep learning and growing.

Follow your gut: Ultimately, Kavita made a decision based on what felt right for her. Trust your instincts and don't be afraid to walk away from something that isn't working.
