Keerthy Suresh Gears Up for Comedy Caper "Raghu Thatha"

South Indian star Keerthy Suresh is all set to tickle funny bones with her upcoming Tamil film "Raghu Thatha." 

The movie recently had a song launch event in Chennai, where Keerthy opened up about her experience and cleared the air about rumors.

Initially, Keerthy wasn't sure if the role in "Raghu Thatha" would be a good fit. 

But the director's vision convinced her, and she praised his ability to transform her into the character.

Comedy with a Message

There were whispers about the film having an anti-Hindi message. Keerthy shut those down, explaining that "Raghu Thatha" is a full-fledged comedy that tackles broader themes of oppression, particularly against women. 

She clarified, "The film talks about fighting against all kinds of control, using Hindi as an example because it relates to the story."

"Raghu Thatha" promises pure comedic entertainment, and Keerthy hopes audiences will enjoy the humor and the underlying message.

Who's Who Behind the Scenes?

Suman Kumar is both the director and writer of the film. Keerthy Suresh takes the lead, with M.S. Bhaskar, Devadarshini, and Ravindra Vijay playing supporting roles. 

This marks the first Tamil production by Hombale Films, with Vijay Kiragandur as the producer. 

Music is by Sean Roldan, Yamini Yagnamurthy handles cinematography, and T.S. Suresh takes care of editing.
