Valmiki’s Divine Vision: The Story of How the Ramayana Was Born

Once upon a time, there was a revered sage named Valmiki who longed to delve into the life of a noble hero named Rama. 

He had previously heard the tale from the wise sage Narada and sought to explore it more deeply.

In the second chapter of the Balakanda, it is revealed that after Valmiki's meeting with Narada, Valmiki was granted a divine vision by Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe.

He even saw their experiences in the dense Dandakaranya forest and everything that transpired.

He intertwined his deep understanding of virtue and righteousness with the rich experiences and challenges faced by Rama.

Thus, Valmiki began to craft his epic narrative, a story to be cherished and revered, like an ocean of treasures. 

And so, he set about writing the Ramayana, a tale destined to inspire and uplift all who heard it.
