The Hidden Thread Serial Update: Episode 10 - A Turning Point

Anya was determined to move on.

She had decided to focus on her career and put her (whatever) feelings for Varun aside.

She was tired of the emotional roller coaster, the constant ups and downs.

One day, while working late, Anya received a call from her family.

They were discussing her future, suggesting potential marriage proposals.

Anya politely declined, expressing her desire to focus on her career.

Unbeknownst to her, Varun was nearby.

He had been working late as well, and he overheard her conversation.

His heart sank as he heard her resolute tone.

He realized that he had let his fear of rejection cloud his judgment.

He had pushed her away, and now, he might lose her forever.

Anya, unaware of Varun's presence, continued to express her feelings. "I'm not ready for marriage," she said firmly. "My career is my priority."

Varun listened intently, his heart aching.

He had always admired her ambition, her drive, and her independence.

But he had underestimated the depth of her feelings for him.

As Anya hung up the phone, she felt a sense of relief.

She had been honest with her family, and she was confident in her decision.

She turned to leave, but then she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Anya," Varun's voice was gentle, almost hesitant. "Can we talk?"

Anya turned to face him, her expression a mix of surprise and confusion.

"What do you want, Varun?" she asked, her voice steady.

"I want to talk about us," he replied. "About what happened, about how I've messed up."

Anya hesitated. She didn't know what to say.

She was still hurt and confused. But she also couldn't deny the pull she felt towards him.

"I don't know, Varun," she said, her voice barely a whisper. "I'm not sure if I can trust you anymore."

Varun knew he had a lot of work to do to regain her trust.

But he was determined. He was determined to prove to her that he loved her, and that he would do anything to keep her.
