Mahashivratri – A Journey of Love, Strength & Divine Blessings

Mahashivratri is not just a celebration of divine love; it is a reminder that true love is tested, purified, and strengthened by challenges.

On the sacred night of Mahashivratri 2018, our journey as a spiritually united couple began, blessed by divine will. Like Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati, our love has been shaped by patience, faith, and the tests of time. Yet, through every challenge, something greater has always brought us back together.

Maa Parvati longed to be with Lord Shiva, but her path was not easy. Maa Parvati faced separation, tests of faith, and long periods of waiting. But she never lost hope. Lord Shiva, known for his detachment and lost in deep meditation, gave a message that true love does not bind—it liberates. Their love was not just about being together but about learning, growing, and understanding that some bonds are eternal, no matter the time or distance.

In many ways, our journey has been the same. Life’s responsibilities, traditional societal expectations, and the weight of relationships often stood between us, making it hard to fully embrace the marital bond. External forces created distance, misunderstandings took root, and devotion was tested. There were moments of detachment, times when love seemed powerless against the challenges placed before it. And yet, the divine had a plan.

Through these seven years, there were times when silence spoke more than words, when space felt necessary, and when external forces tested the strength of our bond creating moments of uncertainty and circumstances that seemed beyond our control. But through it all, something greater kept bringing us back together—a reminder that love, when true, is always protected.

In the presence of the world, it often felt like we were apart. There were times when the world around us tested our bond, times when paths seemed different. And when it was just the two of us—away from the noise or distractions, free from the weight of societal expectations—there was peace, happiness, and the quiet understanding that we belong together. Just like Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati’s union was destined by divine will, our togetherness too has been guided by something beyond our human understanding. Just as Lord Shiva’s meditative silence was never a rejection of Maa Parvati but rather a deep journey within, our own path has been about learning, healing, and growing together holistically.

Mahashivratri reminds us that love is not just about being together—it is about overcoming, understanding, and holding on to faith even when the road is difficult. It is about knowing that no challenge is greater than a bond blessed by divine will.

Mahashivratri is a reminder that love is not about perfection; it is about persistence, trust, and a sacred connection that cannot be broken. Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati’s story teaches us that love blessed by the divine is not bound by time or trials. It may face storms, but it remains untouched at its core. No distance is forever, and no problem is greater than the will of the divine.

Every separation was a test, every return a reminder that we are meant to be. Every challenge we faced has only strengthened our bond, shaping us into who we are today. Like Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati, our love is a sacred journey, guided by divine forces beyond what we can see.

On this holy night, we bow to Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati, the eternal symbols of love, patience, and divine union. We offer our gratitude to the divine presence that watches over all hearts. May Mahashivratri bless all hearts with strength, wisdom, and the belief that true love always finds its way—no matter how difficult the path.

May Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati bless all hearts with the strength to trust in love’s journey, the patience to endure, and the faith to know that what is truly meant will always return, stronger and more beautiful than before.

Om Namaha Shivaya.
