MySoulAndHeart Song Diaries #4: Jay Jaykara

Song: Jay-Jaykara

Artist: Kailash Kher
From the movie: Baahubali 2: The Conclusion
Why this song touches my soul
This song beautifully captures the emotional bond between the people and their future king.
Even before he wears the crown, Baahubali wins hearts through his courage, compassion, and sense of duty.
There is a rare purity in how the people see him - not just as a ruler, but as someone who belongs to them.
The music and vocals elevate this feeling, making it deeply moving and almost spiritual.

My reflection

Very few songs manage to strike such a deep emotional chord.
Jay-Jaykara is not just about the separation between a foster mother and her son, as it is also about the rise of a true leader.
Baahubali represents a kind of leadership that the modern world needs: one built on selflessness, connection with people, and the ability to inspire without authority.
It reminds me that leadership is not given by a title, and it is earned through actions and love.

A line from the song I love

“Bhagwaan khud humare saath rehne aa rahe.”
This line perfectly reflects the faith and devotion people place in a leader who truly cares for them.
