In the 20th December 2023 episode of Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, Virat tells Amruta to apologize to Rajiv and his parents.
However, Amruta tells that she respects the character of her own and she will not apologize for things that she was not her fault.
Virat tells then she will not get her job back. In the meantime, Bhavani falls sick and when hospitalized, Amruta and Harsh get to know that she has a major illness.
However, due to lack of funds, Amruta is unable to continue her treatment.
She requests her father Jayesh to help her out to treat Bhavani. But Ishika manipulates him by telling Bhavani is all fine and Amruta is only acting up to get money.
She tries to tell Jayesh about Ahuja house incident that revolved Rajiv but she doesn't tell anything seeing Amruta's face.
Amruta leaves and calls other sources to get funds but she fails. She remembers Virat and reaches his house to apologize to Rajiv and his parents.
Jayesh listens to Amruta's apology and misunderstands her further.
Amruta tells Virat that she wants to resign from the job as she needs money urgently and the bank is not releasing her salary as Virat is unhappy with her job.
Virat taunts Amruta to be behind money always and Amruta says a middle-class person has several necessities to be met and a rich man like him will never understand the same.
