Gurucharan Singh, an actor from the show "Taarak Mehta Ka Oooltah Chashmah," recently talked about why he disappeared.
In an interview with The Times of India, he explained that it wasn't for publicity. Instead, he went on a spiritual journey.
Gurucharan went missing on April 22 and came back after 25 days. He returned to Mumbai earlier this month.
Gurucharan mentioned that he had always been spiritual because of his parents.
When he felt low, he turned to God and went on a spiritual journey with no plans to return.
However, he received a sign from God that made him come back home.
He said some people thought he disappeared for publicity, but that wasn’t true.
If he wanted publicity, he could have talked about his unpaid dues from the show.
He could have used social media, but he chose not to. Even after coming back, he didn’t give interviews initially but decided to speak up now to clear things up.
Gurucharan also mentioned that he needs the industry's support to get work.
He wants to pay off his loans and debts by working hard. He realized he could continue his spiritual journey while fulfilling other responsibilities.
He disappeared in April when he left his Delhi home to fly to Mumbai but never boarded the flight.
When he returned home, Delhi Police questioned him, and he gave a statement to a local court. Gurucharan played Roshan Singh Sodhi on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
