Timeless Bond Serial Update: Episode 8 - Reena Helps Raghu with HRM Concepts for ATKT Exam Preparation

After the college break for exam preparation, Reena and Raghu met again in the library.

Raghu had been feeling the weight of his ATKT exams looming over him, especially with the difficult subjects he had to cover for his backlogs.

Reena, on the other hand, was preparing for her sem 1 exams, but she felt more confident with her studies, having worked through various topics in-depth during her assignments.

As they sat down, Raghu couldn't help but bring up something that had been on his mind since their last conversation.

“You know, Reena,” Raghu said, chuckling as he looked at her, “I spent a whole day searching for you on social media. I tried everything—Instagram, Facebook, even LinkedIn! I’m beginning to think you’ve invented a way to be a ghost online.”

Reena laughed. “I’m not a ghost, Raghu. I just don’t use social media. It helps me stay focused on what matters—my studies, my family time, and my hobbies.”

Raghu raised his eyebrows, clearly fascinated. “Really? No social media at all? That’s amazing! My whole family’s glued to WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. Even my distant relatives update me about my own birthday on Facebook!”

Reena shrugged, a little smile on her face. “It’s how I stay grounded. I don’t need constant updates. I prefer to spend my time in the real world, you know?”

Raghu was visibly impressed. “That’s pretty cool, Reena. I wish I could be as focused, but my phone’s always buzzing. Anyway, how’s your exam preparation going?”

Reena smiled and handed him a thick notebook. “Actually, I’ve been writing down all my doubts while studying. It’s filled with questions that I couldn’t answer on my own, and I thought you might help me fill in the answers whenever you get time.”

Raghu flipped through the notebook, impressed by how organized and diligent Reena was.

“Wow, you really put a lot of effort into this. I can see how this could help both of us, but I have to be honest—I’m mostly focused on preparing for my ATKT exams. However, there’s this one subject I’m struggling with—Human Resource Management. The faculty’s been too busy to help, and I’m just not getting some of the concepts. Any chance you could help me out?”

Reena, who had already covered similar topics during her own assignments in semester 1, nodded confidently.

“Sure, I can help you with that! I worked on a couple of assignments related to HRM, so I’ve got a good grip on those concepts. I’m not an expert, but I can help clarify some of the things you’re finding tough.”

Raghu looked at her in surprise. “Really? You’d help me with HRM? I didn’t expect that.”

Reena smiled. “Of course! I remember struggling with some of those topics in my assignments, but once I worked through them, it made a lot more sense. I’m happy to share what I’ve learned.”

Raghu felt a weight lifting from his shoulders. “This is great! I’ve been worried about HRM for a while, and with the exams coming up, I wasn’t sure how I was going to clear my doubts. Thanks for helping me out, Reena.”

Reena smiled warmly. “No problem at all. We’re all in this together. If you need any help with the concepts, feel free to ask me anytime.”

As they continued chatting about the HRM topics, Reena’s calm and confident approach made Raghu feel more hopeful about his upcoming exams.

He was beginning to realize that, despite his struggles, he wasn’t alone.

With Reena’s help, he could clear his doubts and face his ATKT exams with a bit more confidence.

Though they weren’t studying together, Reena’s support had already made a huge difference.

For Raghu, it wasn’t just about clearing academic doubts—it was about seeing that someone cared enough to offer help when he needed it the most.

And that was a feeling he hadn’t experienced in a long time.
