In the 4th January 2024 episode of Chookar Mere Mann Ko / Chhoo Kar Mere Mann Ko, Deepa finds Suraj's room to be not in proper condition.
She calls the maids to set up Suraj's room but they don't come as they are busy setting up Deepa's nursery.
Deepa realizes that Suraj is sad for Shona's behavior and that's why he has kept his room in a mess.
Suraj comes to his room but when he finds Deepa in his room, he decides to stay outside his room and hides himself to see what Deepa is up to.
Deepa keeps all things properly in Suraj's room. She recollects her past memories when she sees the stethoscope.
Suraj also recollects his fond memories with Deepa. Deepa tells to herself that why things cannot be like before how she and Suraj used to live a happy married life.
Suraj cries seeing Deepa crying and tells to himself that he loves her so much but just because of her one mistake, nothing can become like before.
Suraj tells that it is because of the immense love that he has for Deepa, he is unable to separate himself from her despite telling that he wants to get rid of her.
Deepa cries inside the room and Suraj cries sitting outside the room, they both feel highly emotional thinking about their ruined marital life.
Deepa then leaves the room keeping a dress ready for Suraj to wear once he is back home. Deepa doesn't notice Suraj as he hides himself.
Suraj sees his room clean and tidy. He gets emotional again thinking about Deepa. Just then Rupa walks inside the room and tells Suraj to change his dress as there is a surprise waiting for him.
Rupa gives Suraj another dress and also blindfolds him.
Suraj keeps asking Rupa where she is taking him and she takes him to Deepa's nursery set up inside the Sengupta house.
Suraj removes his blindfold and finds the nursery and also Deepa opens her blindfold and gets closer to Suraj.
Suraj and Deepa share a romantic moment. Lavanya tells them that the flower nursery is a gift and a blessing to the couple to stay a happy life.
Deepa sees the nursery and tells Lavanya and family members that she cannot accept this gift.
Lavanya tells that it didn't take much money to set up the nursery and she can consider this as a gift from her mother.
Deepa says it is about her self-respect and she would prefer to give rent for the nursery set up by the Sengupta family members.
Suraj gets angry on Deepa and then criticizes Lavanya for giving Deepa gifts that she doesn't understand the value of.
Suraj also tells other family members why they support Deepa when she doesn't know its value at all.
Deepa walks out with Rupa and Shona from the nursery and pours water on the flower pots outside the home.
Suraj tells his family members that he feels like leaving the house with Shona. He comes in changed clothes again to meet Rupa and Shona.
Rupa and Shona learn about flowering plants and when Suraj comes to talk to them, they start showering water on him with the help of a water tube.
Deepa tries to stop Rupa and Shona and she goes closer to Suraj and they both get drenched in water.
Rupa and Shona enjoys showering water on Suraj and Deepa and think that probably they will come closer now.
Lavanya, Pratik, Joy, Urmi, Palak all gather outside the house and look at Suraj and Deepa sharing a romantic moment in the water. They all along with Rupa and Shona keep smiling looking at Deepa and Suraj.
Suraj shouts at Rupa and Shona for drenching him and also scolds them to go inside the house as they will fall sick.
When Lavanya comes to her grandchildren's support, Suraj scolds her as well and also other family members. Deepa too supports him thinking that he is concerned of his children.
Suraj changes his dress and comes with a frock and towel for Shona but Shona gets the help of Deepa who asks her to change the dress so that she doesn't fall sick.
Shona tells to Deepa and Rupa that she still feels lonely and remembers about her parents.
Deepa asks Shona what she will do if she meets her mother, Shona tells she will ask her mother why she left her in childhood.
She compares her mother with Deepa of how she is still managing to live with Rupa despite getting no financial support from Suraj and his family.
Deepa tells Shona to consider her as her mother till she finds her real mother.
Shona tells to Deepa that she is not her real mother and only Phoolmaa.
Hearing Shona not calling Deepa as her own mother makes Deepa feel emotional and she cries and hugs Shona.
Deepa tells Shona that everything will be alright soon and she need not worry more.
At night, Suraj comes to talk to Shona and sits near her.
Shona calls him Doctor Sahab and that disappoints Suraj. Then she recollects Deepa's words that she should always call Suraj as Papa and not Doctor Sahab.
Shona calls Suraj as Papa and Suraj feels happy. He asks Shona why is she upset. Shona tells she knows all the family members love her but she gets reminded of her missing parents.
Shona tells Suraj that she wants her parents. Suraj asks if he searches for Shona's parents, will she leave and go with them.
Shona tells yes as wherever parents stay, that's where their children also live. Suraj says no and he would miss her a lot.
That's why he will find Shona's parents and introduce them to her but she should tell them that she wants to stay with Suraj.
Suraj asks Shona to promise and Shona promises.
The next day Suraj comes with many files and tells Lavanya to help him find Shona's parents.
Suraj gets a call from Mishka and thanks her for sending the files and tells her that he is busy right now and will talk later.
Lavanya tells that she is not interested in these things and wants to organize a pooja for Shona's well-being.
Suraj taunts his family members when they criticize Mishka. Deepa tells why doesn't he call Mishka for the function.
He immediately dials Mishka and calls her for the function. Mishka becomes happy thinking the Senguptas have invited her to their home for a pooja.
Mishka orders a saree and thinks about what jewelry to wear for the function as she is very excited to meet Suraj at his home.
Deepa plots an idea with other family members of how she can keep Mishka busy and away from home during the function.
Pratik and Joy become very happy with the idea of putting an advertisement of Mishka's marriage and keeping her busy with the potential grooms.
Lavanya says she wants to stay out of the plan and tells Deepa to manage the function without any interference from Mishka. Deepa agrees.
Deepa gets flowers for the next day's function and she meets an emotional Suraj who cries for missing Shona and the chaos in his life.
Deepa asks if he can think about reuniting with her and ending all the troubles in their lives.
Suraj says he will never reunite with her not just this birth but for the next 7 births.
The flowers that Deepa collected for the function falls down and she also becomes emotional.
Mishka at her home keeps getting calls from random guys who tell her that they are interested in getting married to her.
Mishka gets disturbed with the calls. Deepa puts the children Rupa and Shona to sleep.
Joy comes to Deepa to tell her about the marriage advertisement of Mishka and they both share a laugh.
Suraj comes to meet Deepa thinking she might be very emotional as he spoke rudely with her.
However, seeing Deepa and Joy enjoying a laugh seeing something on mobile, he leaves thinking that Deepa has the support of all the family members and doesn't need Suraj.
The next day Deepa and Rupa come to Shona to dress her up and tell how the function will put an end to all her problems in life.
Rupa and Shona dress up and Deepa and Suraj along with other family members attend the pooja.
Shona insists Deepa to sit with Suraj as all couples sit together during the function.
Then the pandit tells Lavanya to make Prasad. Lavanya tells Deepa to make Prasad and she tells Rupa and Shona to assist her and also explains them the meaning of making the Prasad.
Ratna and Nistarini Devi after contemplating on how they can enter the Sengupta house go to meet Mishka and find out that she is getting married.
Mishka gets irritated when she meets the potential grooms standing in a line outside her home.
She tells Ratna and Nistarini Devi that she is not getting married and tells them to leave.
She calls police station and tells them about the matter.
Just then Suraj gets a call from Mishka that she is in a trouble and wants his immediate help.
Suraj is about to leave the function after getting the call as he couldn't details of the emergency that Mishka is into.
Pratik and Prabir try to stop Suraj and tell why he has to always help out Mishka.
